This 7-minute informational film explores the physical nature of 16th century books. The first couple minutes feature scholars at the Folger Shakespeare Library in Washington, DC. From the 1:51 mark on, I talk about “The Natural History of the Book” using our own Special Collections holdings at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Jesse Stommel filmed and produced the film as part of “Shakespeare in the Community” Massive Open Online Course [MOOC].
