This 9-minute informational film explores the old books and iPads and considers the ways we interact with ideas in written form. The first couple half features scholars at the Folger Shakespeare Library in Washington, DC. From the 4:12 mark on I talk about “The Book As Interface” using our own Special Collections holdings at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Jesse Stommel filmed and produced the film as part of “Shakespeare in the Community” Massive Open Online Course [MOOC].
